This is my new digital art piece created in the month of October 2020. The black cat has been given a bad rep for its color because in stories they are only seen when they get close to someone and because of that, they frighten the person. So I guess that makes them scary? But in many different parts of the world they are seen as luck in places like Japan and Britain. So lucky that pirates would keep them on their ships. And the Scots believed that if you see a black cat come to your home, it means prosperity. So I guess it all depends on your own superstition! I have a black cat named Boo and she has brought nothing but joy to my home. I consider black cats to be lucky and with two full moons this October, even more lucky!
