This painting is called Bloom! I started off only knowing I wanted to make a unique hummingbird for a show I had coming up. I wanted to try as many new things with this piece as I could, so to do that I just did whatever came to mind during the art process. For not having a plan and just going with the flow of things, I think it turned out the way it was meant to! This acrylic piece has more mediums than I have ever used on a painting. With copper wire, crystals, foam, glue, modeling paste and mini canvas all incorporated into the work. Only the original will be of that length, all reprints will be sized to normal standard sizes. I hope you enjoy this painting as much as I did while making it! Really was a breath of fresh air getting outside of my comfort zone and just letting the process flow.
